Welcome to Aspiring Minds

| The aim of Aspiring Minds is to encourage and engage young people in an activity which can take place both in and out of school whilst developing key and personal skills. The programme will inspire young people and raise their aspirations and, at the same time, give them invaluable experience which can be taken into further education or employment. | ||||
| Based around the subject of Enterprise, Aspiring Minds is one of a number of curriculum-tight schools educational programmes delivered by Fens Forward and the By Design Group. The young people involved in the programme have been tasked with developing an Enterprise. Over a period of time the ‘Companies’ will complete an on-line Business Plan and put together a five minute pitch which they will have the opportunity to present to a judging panel consisting of professionals, teachers, and business men and women. The winning ‘Company’ will receive an award, prizes for their employees and will be invited to attend the East Midlands iFestival Dinner in April 2009. | ||||
